About us

Every person of any origin has an interest to the history and the culture of its people. Peoples, originated in Altai, have their own inimitable destiny and a creative life.
Many pages of history and culture of these peoples have been silenced for many years by different political acts or brusque moves. Big pieces of the public canvas of historical information were often torn apart and destroyed. The manifestation of truth did not appear to be provided during the life of the society.
The life of ethnos, of people originated in Altai, suffered ups and downs. Ones assimilated, others changed their names, their language, and their geographic disposition. And curiously, the more historical, ethnological, ethnographical, linguistic information was hidden, the more passion for discovery it evoked.
We have not established our aim to make any political combat. Our aim is to show readers, as much as possible, the clean crystals of our history, our culture, our art, so that misunderstanding of truth will be minimized.
Readers can also send us their opinion or articles about their nation, about interesting events, which concern history and culture, but also photography. We will post them under your name. The journal is for the moment written in three languages: English, French and Russian. If there will be people who would like to translate articles on languages, originated in Altai, we will be glad to publish them. For the moment the whole work is done free of cost.
